PI - E.T. - LP

Pi (∏) is a highly praised music project of the mystical artist, multi-instrumentalist, and singer-songwriter Ivana Picek, who, under that name, released an independently recorded and produced album "(časna lubanjska)" in 2017. In 2020., with the release of the single and the video "Mali Android", Pi began to give the first hints of creating new work, and with the recent release of the single "Antifragilna", everything was ready for her new chapter and SF adventure called "E.I.", via PDV Records. She started her musical career more than 10 years ago, acoustically, under her own name, and released two freak folk albums that delighted the Croatian singer-songwriter scene.

Keeping her original avant-garde electro-alien-fairy-cyber-hyper-pop style, started more than 10 years ago, the album "E.I." is a unique release, with a combination of electronics and freak pop, that captures all the listener's senses and provides an unforgettable metaphysical experience. In contrast to the previous "dark" album "(časna lubanjska)" whose theme is nature, the leitmotif of "E.I." is set in the not-so-distant dystopian future, follows the creation of the scientist Evgenia and the creation of a new man, along with transhumanist motifs such as robots, AI and aliens.

The songs on the new album were written and recorded by Pi herself (as she says, everything was created on her laptop), with the help of her longtime friend and collaborator Arian Vuica in the final mix. Filip Motovunski is responsible for the master, Matej Jurčević for the photos, and Tea Stražičić for the album cover.

In addition to music, she puts a lot of effort into unusual futuristic video clips, which achieve their full creative meaning when accompanied by her songs, and provide the viewer with an unforgettable experience.
